Well, if he's Irish and likes whiskey, I would assume that he drinks Irish Whiskey. If this is the case, you have a couple of options.

- Red Breast is a very good Irish for around 30 dollars.
- As mentioned above, you can get Bushmills 21 year old for around $120. However, whiskies aged this long have a very different taste than everyday whiskey, and your fiend may not be used to it to appreciate it.
- Black Bush is still a step up from regular Bushmills that receives very positive review for around $30.
- Jameson is the other major Irish whiskey, and the best selling one. Jameson has an 18 year available for roughly 80-90 dollars, and is very good, but once again, be wary if your friend has never had a whiskey near this old. If he hasn't, I'd recommend the Jameson 1780, which is also very good for around $40.

Hope your friend has a great 21st.

Regular Jack Daniels is CRAP!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT BUY IT!!!!! If you do decide to go with Jack Daniels get the Gentlemen Jack which is one of there mid upper range whiskeys. I would personally prefer to go with Redbreast or Johnnie Walker Black not Red or Laphroaig which are top shelf.

Jamesons irish whisky!

I know several people who like Gibsons.
