The word is called choice, more specifically personal choice. There is no specific definition, like omnivore. And there are quite a few people in the world, about half, that never drink, mainly do to religious reasons.
-Prohibitionists? But this means that you not only don't drink alcohol, but you also try to enforce this onto others too.
- abstinent from alcohol
- a non-drinker
- teetotaler (someone who totally abstains from alcoholic beverages)
unfortunately, none of these words also mean that they've never drunk alcohol.
p.s. OH! I have totally forgotten about straight edge! that's probably what you've been looking for! Its a life-time commitment to never drink, do drugs or smoke (some also abstain from sex and caffeine)
(but credit to the second girl who answered the quesiton^)
Sober or straight edge. That's me, too. I'm seventeen and don't plan on drinking it. Don't want the mess that comes with it and I simply don't like the taste, I've had a sip before and spit it out.
Good for you. All my friends make fun of me, swear I'll change, but I have my morals and you do too, and there's nothing wrong with it at all. It'll get you far in life I promise you(:
To not drink at all is to be 'sober'. But it more often applies to a person who used to have a drinking problem and quit, as opposed to one who made the personal choice not to drink in the first place.
There is no question there. Everything you said was a statement. By the way it's "I have never DRUNK", not 'drunken'.
go live your life, you're the one who brought it up Teetotaler.
Don't ! That's totally fine its actually a lot better than drinkin
good for you.
I don't understand your question...
