I'm planning on getting tequila (Avion) to bring in the New Year.....
What should I get in terms of mixers and other flavor + equipment to bring it up to par.

That tequila is great for shots. Get a cheap bottle of Jose Cuervo to mix any generic triple sec and freshly squeezed lime juice always fresh lime. Jose Cuervo or any generic brand tequila and orange juice makes a great tequila sunrise.
