What happened to Cruzan Black Strap Rum ?!


Question: What happened to Cruzan Black Strap Rum ?
The best of thick, dark rums has disappeared from the shelves in N. E. OH. Why is it gone & where can I find a good substitute ?

I would not call these Navy Rums but they are very nice for what you need and I have no idea why you can not get the Black Strap.

Diplomático Reserva or Diplomático or El Dorado 15 Year Old (most like the Gosling's Black Seal Rum) or Ypioca 160

I cannot answer your question but I can recommend a replacement for now. Try the Krakken Rum as a substitute for Black Strap - you'll like it.
