How common is it to be denied alcohol multiple places right after 21?!

I dont quit understand what you mean, but I will try to help... Why were you banned from these other 2 place? did you get to drunk, start a fight,or get caught there before you were 21? Or did they think you were lying about your age? if that's the case, i would call during the day when they open and speak to the manager. Tell them what happen and that you really are 21. Maybe bring a birth certificate to prove it, during the day of course and not before you start to drink at a bar.

Do you feel nervous when you give them your id? maybe it shows and they think you are using a fake. It is kinda weird that they ban for taking to long with finding an id. Next time keep it in a place you know where it at. I have lost my id in my purse and it has took me a few minutes to find it. I have never been denied from a place for taking to long, and this has happen alot

You may be acting stupid, not wearing appropriate clothing for their establishment, (if you have your pants around your knees, they might not want that kind of 'look'), if you are loud or obnoxious off the get go - they don't want to find out what you'll be like after a few drinks.
They also don't want the legal ramifications that might come about after you get stupid drunk and do something stupid.
"We have the right to refuse service to anyone" seems to apply to you and not whipping out your ID fast enough has nothing to do with it.
You sound like your 21 on your license but you act like your 12 and those bars don't want that.

Depending on where you live, the poilice are cracking down on establishments that serve underage people, so if there is any doubt, they will refuse to serve you. With the plethera of fake IDs on the market, it makes it more difficult for those that are legetimetly of age to convince bar keeps that they are legal. You should pick a couple of places you like and get to know the staff.

Once you show picture ID and they can tell it's you, they should serve you. If you've been banned from 2 places there is another reason that you are telling.

Your ID should not be hidden in your wallet, fishing for your ID in your wallet brings on suspicion of how many ID's are you carrying.

Go buy some 40's and see what happens.
