When I had my wisdom teeth out the specialist told me to rinse my mouth often etc. However my son had his out last year and he was told not to rinse and to drink through a straw, so as not to disturb the stitches. He healed very well and very quickly.

I would drink something with lots of Vitamin C in it to help with the healing.

Cant you drink anything you want? Usually its just food you have to watch out for.

Sometimes they say not to drink alcohol if you're on pain meds, which if you are I highly recommend just waiting til your're off the meds. Mixing the two can be really dangerous. (I work with health educators and I know of cases where people have gone to sleep and not woken up from getting drunk while on pain pills)

go for it if you're not on any meds and you're not bleeding. the risk with alcohol is a multiplier effect with your medication or increased bleeding.

drink therer gunna fall out anyway one day

anytime its healed and you stop bleeding

as long as you are not drinking from a straw you're cool
