I assume that your question regards why people GET addicted....
Simple answer is Nicotine.
It is one of the MOST addictive substances known to man - apparently.
I am currently trying to stop smoking (second day...!!), and so I would have to say that yes - it is damned addictive and I wish I'd never started!

Is the nicotine in them that make them crave for them, but my friend says that is something psychological but who know, I think is different & it depends on everyone.
