During 1930 Ballantine’s 17 year old and 30 year old are introduced. The first and only super-premium whiskies at the time. In 1938 Ballantine’s are granted their Heraldic Arms, The Ballantine Crest by The Lord Lion, King of Arms. In 1990's Ballantine joins the Pernod Ricard group (not sure if reamins today). Sandy Hyslop is appointed as Ballantine’s Master Blender becoming only the 5th Master Blender in Ballantine’s 180 year history. I think the value is not too great but worth a little more to the collector.
