Since alcohol dries the mouth the salivary glands kick into gear producing saliva.
Specific conditions may also cause increased saliva to occur:
* Pregnancy
* Mouth infection
* Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD)
* Bell's palsy
* Poisioning (such as arsenic or in our case, ethanol)
This is very common when overindulging....I mean the DROOLING.......
