Why would a STAINLESS steel flask turn my Crown Royal black. There is not really a taste difference. Why?!

Question: Why would a STAINLESS steel flask turn my Crown Royal black. There is not really a taste difference. Why?
Is this dangerous to drink. What has happened to the color.

Answers:

Seems lie something that might occur in an aluminium flask but not a stainless steal. The color caused by a reaction to the metal is no worse than the alcohol. Drink it.

Maybe it's "stainless" made in a foreign nation known for fake products.

I wouldnt drink it, maybe there's lead in it.
