Only after having this question myself, I asked a nutritional professional friend of mine, and she told me that it's fine as long as you made sure the bottle cap is screwed on tightly when you stored it.
Also that if it was in your cabinet isn't in a warm spot or where the sunlight hits it directly.
It is fine to drink for a couple of years. We made a couple of drinks with eggnog over the holidays
and it was still good.

It should be fine. The alcohol and sugar content would keep it from spoiling.
