Question: What is the best drinking country in the world?
I personally think it's a tie between the Russians and the Irish
What do you think?

I think this question is a waste of disk space.

Here is a website that shows the per capita consumption:

It is pretty close to the wikipedia numbers, but they were from 2003. This is total per capita, so France and Luxembourg are high probably because everyone drinks wine.

When it comes to beer, no one even comes close to the Czechs. They average 180 L per yer per capita, while the famous beer drinkers, Ireland and Germany, are 79 and 80 L respectively. I've been to all three countries, they all are great drinkers (I especially enjoyed the crazy Irish) but the Czechs drink beer more than water.

When it comes to drinking that much I can hardly call it the "best" drinking country.

Did you mean to ask "what country in the world that consumes the most alcohol"?
If so then you may want to specify in quantity consumed (and of what) or per capita

Ireland, they make and consume everything where as most people in russia only drink vodka. Also, when a country is synonymous with Guinness and whiskey, that is a sure sign that you win. ha ha ha

According to Beerfest it's Germany
It's probably a tie between Russia (vodka), Germany (beer), Scotland (beer, scotch), and Ireland (beer, whiskey)

My brain

Germany

Anyone who drinks daily, that is the way.

i think beer is best for everyone.
