What are Dos & Don'ts in your country?!

Question: What are Dos & Don'ts in your country?
Answers:

England is a nation of queuers and it is inadvisable to try to jump ahead of your turn.

Punctuality when meeting for business or pleasure is expected by most people.

Although the English tend to dress casually out of work, men will be expected to wear a jacket and tie for more formal occasions.

Drivers are generally polite and will let you into a stream of traffic. A sign of appreciation for this is expected.

If you are invited to someone's house for dinner, it is the norm to take a small gift, often a bottle of wine or flowers.

In the pub with friends, you will be expected to take your turn in buying a round of drinks.

Most hotels and restaurants add a 10-15 percent service charge to your bill for a meal. It's your right to deduct this amount if you are not happy with the service provided. Sometimes when service has been added, the final total on a credit card slip is still left blank, the implication being that a further tip is expected: you are not obliged to pay it. It is customary to give hairdressers, sightseeing guides, railway porters and cab drivers an extra 10 percent.
