What's the name of a liquor worth boasting about?!

Question: What's the name of a liquor worth boasting about?
I'm writing a story about an extremely prideful character who boasts his liquor collection to guests- the problem is, I know nothing about liquors! So please, I need the names of a few drinks that someone would throw around if they were trying to show off. I'm trying to shy away from wines because he's such an arrogant and gruff man, he doesn't seem like much of a wine drinker.

Scion, the 1855 Vintage Port from Taylor is something to brag about yet is rare and very expensive.
A gentleman may drink Scotch and a few nice selections are: Glenallachie 35YRs, Elements of Islay LG2 57%, and both the Benriach Claretwood 16 Yrs '93 and their Riojawood 17 Yrs '92.
