NO

You can not have alcohol in your posession in the UK under the age of 18 UNLESS it has been given you by your parents, and they are with you.

And even then there are restrictions on where you can drink and/or have the alcohol in your posession.

It is also illegal for you to import the alcohol, which is what you are doing by bringing it back ... In fact you are not importing it, you are smuggling it which is an even more serious crime.

PS: Ignore the Americans going on about having to be 21 to drink, they don't even know their own laws (it is no more illegal to drink under 21 in most of the USA than it is to drink under 18 in the UK, you just have to meet certain criteria to make it legal)

No, it's not legal.
However, if you're going to risk it you're unlikely to be found out, and the penalty on smuggling small quantities of alcohol is generally just confiscation. I'd be more worried about the reaction of your parents than the reaction of HMRC if you do get caught.

Note: I'm not endorsing this, just stating a fact.

if ur parents know just get them to bring the alcohol in thier bags and don't get caught drinking it coz u got to be over 18. or if ur at home over 3. or if you are eating a meal in a pub and are 17 with your parents its legal too.

Probably not and they'll take it away from you when you arrive in America. And your parents won't know? Do you think maybe you have a problem with alcohol if you have to buy it and sneak it in?

if your parents bring it through customs as theirs then yes, if you bring it through customs as yours no. you are underage to have alcohol in your possession . it will be confiscated.

No they will remove from your bag to check unless you buy it at the airport or are getting ferry which would work just don't get too much 3+

It is illegal to posses alcohol in England at the age of 16.

Travellers under the age of 17 do not get a duty free allowance so if it is found in your case, it will be confiscated.

Of course it is illegal.
You can only buy alcohol when you are over 21.
