People think they can just blame alcohol for doing stuff wrong. I'll have you know my father is an alcoholic (by night, respectable man by day) he's one of the most chilled out happy reasonable men i've ever met!
I was in the U S of A and had to call the police because I was with someone who was actually abusive, the first thing they asked and ASSumed was 'is he drunk, how much has he been drinking'?
I said he ain't drunk, he's just a nutter.
In my experience people who are really abusive aren't alcoholics.
