Is red wine alcohol different from other alcohols?!

I break out like crazy every single time I drink. Like insanely crazy, and so I drink extremely rarely. I'd like to go out and drink more but I haven't found an alcohol that cooperates with my system. I was wondering, because red wine is made from grapes and to my knowledge does not contain anything else, meaning that the only additive is yeast which I also believe is removed later, that it would maybe be processed through the body differently and I wouldn't have to worry so much about breakouts
