is opened liquor safe ?!

Question: Is opened liquor safe ?
Hi,

i have a green label (JW) opened few years back and since it is well kept (with the top cap being placed) would that be safe to drink it again ? i know the longer liquor, the better taste it should be but for this case... is it "drinkable" ?
thank you

Answers:

Liquor doesn't age in the bottle, so it's not better than it was before but it is 40%+ alcohol by volume, so it's perfectly safe. Nothing can live in alcohol of that concentration so you are fine.

It's fine. Liquor doesn't deteriorate with age if it's kept capped. Doesn't improve in the bottle, either. That only applies to wine.

If its been capped the last few years, opened or not it should be fine

Of course. It is fine
