Question: Where can i find the mugs or cups that were qiute popular about 20-30 years ago, especially at grannys houses?
does anyone remember the thick glass mugs that were around about 20 - 30years ago, they were kinda smoked/brown glass that you could see through. I think every granny in the country had them!.

Yes, they were called Acoroc ?, a sort of Pyrex. They kept the tea warm. you may see them in charity shops or car boot sales but doubt you will get them in any stores. I recall them as far back as 1970.

check ebay, amazon, ioffer, etc but also check pawn shops, flee markets try driving to big yard sales ud be amazed of what you can find from the past
