Things You'll Need:

1 1/2 ounces tequila

1 ounce blood orange juice

1/2 ounce fresh lime juice

3/4 ounce Cointreau liqueur

A handful of ice cubes

Coarse salt (optional)

First you need to decide if you would like your Margarita blended, or on the rocks.

Blended is a frosty treat, but on the rocks is classic. You decide!

For blended: Put all ingredients (except the salt) into your blender and blend away!

On the Rocks: Just throw it all (still no salt) in a shaker!

If you want a salt rim, now is the time to put a little coarse salt (avoid table salt, it will taste icky) into a bowl, rub a lime around the rim of your margarita glasses and dip the edge of the glass into the salt.

A rim salting dish is a festive accessory that makes putting the salt on easier.

Enjoy! Grab some chips and salsa and relax!
