What type of Vodka is smoother, Skyy or Russian Standard?!

Question: What type of Vodka is smoother, Skyy or Russian Standard?
Hi, i'm having an few friends over and we are going to be doing shots, which vodka is smoother going down Skyy or Russian standard?

Answers:

Russian Standard, by a mile.

We use Russian Standard as our well vodka at my bar, and I can't tell you how many compliments we get.

Because the vodka market is so ridiculously over saturated right now, the odds are good that you'll be able to find great bargains at your local packie from companies that are trying to make a name for themselves. Everybody recognizes names like Grey Goose, Absolut and Stoli because they've spent millions of marketing dollars trying to get you to know their names. Worked like a charm.

However, there are just as many smaller vodka distilleries that don't have that kind of advertising budget. Those are the companies willing to put more care and effort into their product thinking you'll buy it on taste alone.

Russian Standard is one of those. Good for you for trying something new.

By the way, if you have a few extra bucks in your budget, consider investing in a bottle of Russian Standard Platinum. It blows Grey Goose out of the water, and at a fraction of the cost. Keep it in your freezer for a few hours before your party and the stuff will go down like water.

Professional bartender.
