What drinks should I order at the bar?!

I just turned 21 so just started going to the bars. I don't know much about drinking and haven't done very much of it so I have a low tolerance.

I don't like doing shots so what should I get to drink? I had a long island but that drink was too big and took too long to drink. My friend told me disaronno on the rocks or amaretto sour. What do you suggest?
