How much liquor do I add to a gallon of mixer to make a wedding punch that's not too strong or too weak?

a tasty mixed drink should be around 8:1 or 8:1.5 mixer to liquor.
A gallon is 128 oz a fifth of liquor is 25 oz
Not super strong put a little more than half a fifth in...strong but not knock you out put in the whole bottle.
I work in a bar and put 1.5 ounce shot in a pint glass with tasty results!
