I forgot to stir in the yeast when adding to my apple cider, is this an issue?!

Question: I forgot to stir in the yeast when adding to my apple cider, is this an issue?
My wife and I are making our first batch of hard cider and we recently added the yeast to our apple cider but forgot to stir it in, rather we just shook the cider. Is this going to ruin our batch or since it's only been a few hours would it ruin our batch if I broke the lock and stirred it in?

Thanks in advance!

A few hours won't make any difference, if your procedure was sanitary. As a matter of fact, the yeast may have already started to "work", just a little more slowly.
