A good Scottish Whiskey?!

Question: A good Scottish Whiskey?
Im lookin for a real Scottish whiskey, made in scotland and drank by the Scots. Im lookin to honor my heritage dammit! lol. But i dont want it to be too expensive or very hard to find

Answers:

Grouse is the most popular whisky in Scotland

(Scotch whisky is spelled minus the E and all whisky made in Scotland is Scotch, not Scottish).

Of course, you haven't said what "too expensive" means. I'd recommend trying Balvenie or Dalwhinnie or one of Glenlivet's French Oak series of Single Malts.

If it's Scottish, then it's whsiky, not whiskey. Just saying :)

How much are you looking to spend? Most blends will be cheaper than single malt. Good blends would be Johnnie Walker Green, or Chivas Regal.

Singe malt tends to have a more defined style than blended whisky. Good, fairly sweet single malts would be Glenlivet or Glenfiddich, both of which are easy enough to find.

I doubt that you'd find my favorite - Balvenie. If you do, try it. Delicious honey notes, dropping away to caramel.
