I think she has a point, but more importantly, I say if you have to control your drinking, Your drinking is out if control
Also stress over small things, and being sensitive are both characteristics of a alcohol problem, and maybe even alcoholic tendency's.
This is far from stupid, and I would like you to do something, --try controlled drinking, just have 2, and try it more than once--You may be surprised at the results.

When you want to know a person better, get him/her drunk. Alcohol does not just makes you dizzy, but it also helps to surface out hidden thoughts or expressions of a person. When a person gets drunk and he/she just showed dizziness and did not show any strange comments or actions except for the usual dizzy movements, then you may say that that person has a good control of himself or he/she is already showing who he/she really is even before he got drunk.
