Liquor laws are mainly holdover from prohibition and are mainly religious fueled. For that reason you can not buy alcohol on Sunday and certain religious holidays (Christmas and Easter being notable) in many places. However the laws change from place to place, sometimes as small as from city to city.
well, honestly, people go out usuually on friday... (long work week) and do their drinking out at a restauraNT OR BAR.
I would definitely say that Americans purchase alcohol on saturdays because saturday is usually a night for entertaining and if you are having a picnic or roast outside on a sunday, you would do your shopping on Saturday for Sunday...
think of saturday as the biggest shopping day of the week because most americans are off work, that is when they do their weekly shopping.
Around me its thursday because its Thirsty Thursday. Also we all stock up for our three day drinking sessions and we have gatorade or powerade for sunday recovery.
I don't know much but I do know drinking
I think most sales come on whatever day the welfare check arrives.
SATURDAY FOR SURE
work at a liquer store
The one I worked at - Saturday was our biggest day.
