Expiration date question?!

Question: Expiration date question?
I'm trying to use lemon juice to clear up my acne. Problem is, it expired back in 2008. Is it still safe to use to clear up my acne?

Answers:

Acne can be difficult to deal with no matter how old you are, but it can be especially embarrassing when it happens to adults. You probably figured that, once you stopped being a teenager, you wouldn't have to worry about it anymore; and that is why those blemishes are such a disappointment when they happen in later years. Thankfully, there are plenty of effective home treatments for acne, and we will talk about some of them in this answer.

A detoxification diet is one natural approach to treating acne and can be a fast or a diet based on fruit or raw foods. For at least a week, you would give up junk foods and processed foods. Whether you choose to add lemon or not, you should be drinking plenty of water. You may also want to get a juicer to help you in making fresh fruit and vegetable juices. Because fresh juices help flush toxins from your system, they will also help get rid of your acne. Doing a detox every so often can help keep you healthy as well as clear up acne but because your body is used to a different kind of diet, the first time you try it, you may experience some discomfort. Certain vitamins and supplements can be taken to help you cure your acne. Acne can be caused by nutritional deficiencies, and if you can correct this, you can get rid of your acne. Vitamin A, which is found in carrots and other foods, is an important vitamin to take for acne. Another one is zinc, which has antibacterial properties. Many topical acne products use zinc, but you also need to be sure you're getting enough in your diet. Chronium can also be very helpful for skin conditions such as acne. Meeting all of your nutritional requirements is important as is avoiding unhealthy foods that can make your acne worse.

Many people tend to pick at their acne or squeeze their pimples. You actually create more pimples when you pick at them because it creates more infections and causes sebum to spread. When you pick at your pimples you can go from having one or two to have lots of them. You need to avoid touching your pimples in addition to your other acne treatments. Avoiding touching your pimples will help you get rid of your acne faster.

Getting rid of acne is a difficult process but not an impossible one. Treatments can take time and many people give up too soon. These treatments have been successful for many people but you will have to try them to see if they can work for you.
