Well pretty simple actually. Usually just ripe hand picked grapes from the vine, fresh water, and maybe some added yeast and sugar. Some winemakers let the yeast in the air ferment it while some add their own blend of winemakers yeast (common). Wine making is a simple yet complex art; essentially you add a few ingredients together and after a week or so it produces wine and then you age it, but alot more goes into it for the truly passionate. You can make your own homemade wine with simple household ingredients (grape juice, bakers juice, sugar, milk jug) and that's basically it
