What is your favorite beer?!
I just want to know YOUR favorite beer.
Answers:
My rent just went up so I am becoming a fan of Coldandfree.
Serious answer -> La Fin Du Monde by Unibroue, in Quebec.
The best beer I ever tasted was a real ale, brewed in a micro-brewery in a pub in the Swansea Valley, Wales.
High on the hill in a little village called Ystalyfera there's a pub called the "Wern Fawr" (Welsh for Big Ash Tree). In there they have paraphernalia from all the workplaces closed down by the English. In the corner was a huge wood fire place that toasted everybody to a crisp.
At the bar they had some really fine stuff, but the best was a beer called "Oh Boy!"
All the beers brewed there are named after Buddy Holly as the former owner was a massive fan.
This beer was cool, not too strong and went down like nectar. 4.5%, sweeter than the average ale, but still had tons of taste.
What a beer!
Favourite lager? Beck's. It's seriously nice.
I also love my Guinness.
My favorites:
APA = Three Floyds Gumballhead
IPA = Minneapolis Town Hall Masala Mama
DIPA = Bells Hopslam
American Double/Imperial stout = Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Stout
RIS = Three Floyds Dark Lord
Quad = Trappist Westvleteren 12
American Barleywine = Pelican Brewing Mother of All Storms
