will alcohol evaporate if kept in a plastic water bottle?!
I had a bottle of rum crack at the bottom and had to put the excess rum in a plastic water bottle. Will it still be good to drink after a few months???

No - the rum will actually start to eat away at the plastic. That is why they put liquor in glass bottles.
it'll start to taste like plastic after a while, but it won't evaporate as long as the lid's on tight and the bottle isn't cracked
