This drink exudes class and will make you stand out. This is the drink of choice for the Italian mob. Also, as every ingredient contains alcohol, they get you drunk post haste.
Whiskey sour is a classic attention getting order. But, you have to have a conversation about which whiskeys are available. And, order it with bitters or a twist. A good whiskey or scotch is about the most expensive thing on the shelf. Never order off the rail (tacky!), always the shelf behind the bar. I dont think theres any drink you could order, which will suddenly make you cool.
The best ones have nothing to do with expense. Those drinks only impress people too befuddled to understand what taste is.
