GO with BACARDI 151!

it's 75.5 % alcohol baby

GO DRUNKS GO!!!

This depends from 20-40%
I would recommend Malibu or Captain Morgan ( Not the black rum )
Malibu is 21% but has a wonderfull taste
Captain morgan got 30-40 im not sure.

If you so would buy one of these.
Captain + Coke
And Malibu + Milk, trust me on this one ; )

Experience

It varies

Bacardi 151 Rum is a high proof (75.5% alc/volume)

on the other end is bacardi light Rum has an alcohol content of 40 percent (80 proof)

other rums around the world have differing alcohol percentages

usually between 40 to 45%.

some crazy stuff like ronrico151 is 75.5% (i.e. 151 proof).

If you want to drink rum straight, get a nice one designed for drinking straight. Rum from Martinique is most approachable. If you are a spilit drinker, you will probably find it too sweet. Dry rum which can be drunk straight is...hmm...Havana club cuban barrel proof (BLUE labeled one). Ron del Barrilito is sweet, but nice. I recommend that. Straight, no ice.

*) proof means 40% alcohol by volume. 151 proof is roughly 76 percent alcohol.
I prefer Grain alcohol 190 pr00f(85% alky) if I just want to get ripped.
80 proof tastes the best.

Depends on the proof of the rum, check the front label of the bottle, near the bottom. It should say "__ Proof". If it is 50 proof, it is 25% alcohol. 100 = 50% alcohol.

A lot. Probably 68-98% by volume depending upon the brand

depends on the specific brand and type... look on the bottle and double the "proof"
