Help... Alcohol makes me feel depressed?!

Question: Help... Alcohol makes me feel depressed?
A lot of the time when I drink alcohol I start feeling really depressed. I hate it because I see all my friends drinking and having a great time.
I really wish I could be a confident, happy and maybe even a little crazy drunk.
Im normally quite shy, so being outgoing doesn't come naturally.
My question is... Is there any specific drinks that would be more prone to make me feel this way rather than depressed?
I've never actually been completely drunk before because I'm too scared what will happen after I reach the depressed stage. Weather or not I'll just make it worse.
PLEASE don't suggest don't drink... I'm young and it's part of it and I want to enjoy it while I can.

Yes some people are funny and out going when drunk but alcohol is a depressent plain and simple.

Your body chemistry does not work well with alcohol. Plain and simple Don't drink.

Trust me people don;t even want to be around you if you get all drepressed when you drink. Just becuase you are a teenager doesn't mean you Have to drink. Yes it is a part of being young but it is not mandatory.

Being young is no excuse for drinking alcohol or doing other drugs. There are some narcotic drugs that can make you feel the way you want to feel. But these drugs are illegal, and they can harm your health.

Than your drinking the wrong kind of alcohol.
