is it okay to keep smirnoff in my car?!

Question: Is it okay to keep smirnoff in my car?
i have a bottle of smirnoff sitting in my car. i'm too lazy to go out and get it.

i heard if you keep smirnoff in the cold and then open the bottle it like freezes or becomes jelly like. and i don't want that happening. i mean what if i kept it in my car all night and then let it sit out for like 5-6 hours in room temp.

is that okay? or do i NEED to go get it.

It does NOT become jelly like in a domestic freezer, the worst it will get is slightly oily (and true vodka drinkers will tell you that's how it's supposed to be drunk)

The only way if will freeze if if your temperatures are below around -25C (-15F) for a long time

If, as the first answerer suggests, you are talking about Smirnoff Ice then it will freeze at around the same temperature as beer (which is much higher than that of vodka) - But that won't be a problem as it will freeze as soon as you open the bottle due to reduced pressure.

In some states and provinces keeping an open bottle of booze in the car can get you a monster size ticket and a letter from your insurance company. If you want it cool stick it into the freezer.

If it's alcopop those are disgusting at room temperature and not much better cold.
If it's vodka it tastes a LOT better cold. Then again it's Smirnoff so does it matter?

Haha, your liquor wont turn to JELLY! If its reg vodka it should be ok, if its one of those cheer-leader beers, smir ice, than u better go get it cuz its mostly sugar and it will explode in cold temps!
