Well clorox is bleach so it's a very strong base. The first and most noticeable reaction will be the burning of your mouth and esophagus. This will result in swelling and ulceration of the tissue, very painful to say the least. Your body will react to the bleach in the stomach as it would any major irritant - vomiting. You would begin to vomit, quite likely uncontrollably, until the stomach is empty (possibly even the duodenal space as well...) and the irritant is removed. Since your esophagus and mouth is already burned, the acid from your stomach would further irritate the tissue and would be about as painful as swallowing the bleach in the first place.

Considering the level of damage I would assume that all but the most resilient of folks would pass out due to the pain. Contrary to popular belief you wouldn't die, at least not immediately, but without proper treatment the tissues wouldn't heal and you may bleed out (unlikely but possible) or you would be unable to eat.

In an emergency like a tornado, hurricane or whatever and people are out of safe drinking water then to the water you can find you'd add I think it's 16 DROPS of regular clorox to a gallon of water and let it sit overnight. That is for an emergency only and not as usual daily use drinking water. Yes there is a danger to doing that but if you need something liquid to survive it will get you by.

Otherwise if you drink clorox straight you'd die.
Think about this: if you were to clean something in your home with straight clorox, in a mere second or two the clorox will eat away your skin down to the bone.

try it! just make sure you film it and put it on youtube so that we can answer your question while you are either in the hospital or dead!
