Why don't I remember much from the other night?!

Question: Why don't I remember much from the other night?
So on Friday I went over to one of my friends house with a bunch of our other friends and we were drinking. I had a few shots of vodka and one beer. I didn't get really drunk but for some reason I forget a lot of the things that happened, and I'm also confusing things that happened in the past week with things that happened the other night. Why is this happening? I was thinking one of these may be the cause: I didn't eat a lot that day; I drank all my drinks within a short period of time; or because the vodka was Georgi; or was it something completely different? This has never happened to me before so any ideas?

You got really drunk to confuse things the next day. Next time drink water before sleeping.
