Is a grape a fruit or a berry?!

Question: Is a grape a fruit or a berry?
Just wondering, I've been thinking about this not sure?

Answers:

Berries are a type of fruit that develop from a single ovary.

Grapes are berries, and therefore also fruits.

Since berries are also a fruit, the question is invalid.

Fruits are characterized as foods that have a seed in or on them. Grapes have seeds in them, so they are a fruit.

Berrys are a subsection of fruits - they are not a part of their own food group, they are part of the Fruit foodgroup.

They are a fruit since they hold a seed.

A kind of fruit, I think.

They are a fruit. :)

fruit.
