Am I going to have liver cancer in a decade like that guy on here said?!

Question: Am I going to have liver cancer in a decade like that guy on here said?
Some guy on here told me I'm gonna have liver cancer in a decade because I drink a lot. I posted I was drinking a bottle of wine or cocktail at 750 ml's or 1 liter every friday, saturday and sunday and the guy said at this pace I will have very severe problems later on in life possibly liver cancer. He told me alcohol should be taken in very small amounts because it's a poison to the body and too much can kill you by shutting down your vital organs such as your liver, kidneys, pancreas etc,. and told me a couple (2-3) glasses of wine on the weekend should be ok but I shouldn't have any more then that because it will affect my health and cause me big problems later in life. He said I had better to stop drinking 3 bottles every weekend instead have 2-3 glasses max in a weekend of wine or anything else that I drink but not anymore then that if I want to live long in this world. He said if I don't change how much I currently drink immediatly I will not live very long maybe 35-40 years max he said I had better drink way less if I want to live past that. He said a couple of drinks on the weekend are plenty however I do not agree with him 2-3 drinks on the weekend is nothing and I prefer to drink my three bottles no matter what he said about liver cancer in 10 years, the guy is dumb alcohol in excess doesn't cause liver cancer. It can cause cirrhosis of the liver but thats when someone drinks a ton for years and years on end and cirrhosis of the liver and liver cancer are two different things so therefore the guy don't know what he is talking about. But he really made me upset by telling me I'm gonna have liver cancer when I'm 34 and gosh I am extremely mad what should I do??? Should I yell and scream and break things???

Answers:

I am 45 and have been drinking since the age of nine...its tasted good sneaking it during my parents party's.
I started serious regular drinking at 12, and by the age of 16 I was full bore!!!
The amount you drink is NOTHING compared to me.
I love the taste of it, and it makes me happy.
You are fine!!!!
dont listen to that.
your liver will let you know if its upset with how you treat it.
at least thats how i feel about it!

YET AGAIN

ONLY YOUR DOCTOR CAN TELL YOU WHAT YOUR ALCOHOL ABUSE IS DOING TO YOUR BODY.

YOU MAY ALREADY HAVE LIVER CANCER

YOU MAY ALREADY HAVE CIRRHOSIS

BUT AS YOU ARE TOO ASHAMED, YOUR OWN WORDS, TO ADMIT WHAT YOU DRINK TO YOUR DOCTOR YOU WILL NEVER FIND OUT

Every body is different. It's possible.

Alcohol can be a factor in several other forms of liver disease not specifically attributed to it, and may interact with risk factors for other forms of liver disease.1 An example of this is people with alcohol-related cirrhosis are at a higher risk of developing liver cancer. Those with Hepatitis B or C accompanied with heavy drinking are at a much higher risk of cirrhosis than with heavy drinking alone.

excess drinking can in fact cause liver cancer. The man was right.

What I don't understand is , why your more bothered by what he said which you believed to be false. You have admitted you would still drink excessively regardless. It affects different people, different amounts of time when your body reacts to alcohol, not necessarily 10 years.
