Does ethanol dilute methanol while destilling?!
I know that certain destilling processes produce both ethanol and methanol.(alcohol) And i was wondering if having alot of ethanol, and a small amount of methanol together, would be safe for consumption? i know that you have to remove the first bit of destilled liquid because it is straight methanol, but after that, would there be any worry of methanol and being poisonous? if you need more information, but think you can help me, please email me. thanks

If you do it correctly, you toss out the heads and tails of the run. The methanol comes off first, so there should be none at all in the part of the run that you use for drinking.
