~~BEER~~ V/S ~~WINE~~?!

Question: ~~BEER~~ V/S ~~WINE~~?
Answers:

beer won!!!

The question is quite unclear - as can be seen from the peculiar answers - including one about Strongbow whic is neither beer nor wine (it's a very poor mass-market cider).

But if I choose to interpret the question as to which is the better drink, then I suggest beer for several reasons:

1. Beer is the world's most popular alcoholic drink, by far.
2. Beer comes in far more styles than wine.
3. Beer comes in far more different strengths than wine.
4. Beer goes with far more different foods than wine.
5. Beer is better for your health than wine (beer contains many important trace elements).
5. Beer quenches your thirst better than wine.

Pus there are probably a few others that I can't recall off the top of my head.

Damn, Richard English going for the big "W"! Go Rich! Way to analyze the hell out of a question.

The question is obviously open to opinions. For me, I would have to agree a quality beer is much more pleasant than any wine. However, I would choose wine (quality or not) over watered down American lagers such as Bud, Coors, etc.

Strongbow is amazing but it's a cider beer.
Wine gives the worst hangovers ever, blah.

I'd go with Strongbow over wine, Wine over Bud Light. If that makes sense.

depends on your own personal preference

WINE!

Beer..
