Fourlokos are bad because they have a deadly amount of caffeine and alcohol mixed within the drink.

BUT what if.....

Is it okay to drink an energy drink while also drinking a beer seperately?

Answers:

Four loko doesn't have caffeine anymore, so its just got a fair amount of alcohol (12%)

and yes, consumption of alcohol at the same time as energy drinks can still be bad.
the reason people have issues is because combining alcohol and caffeine masks the effect of the alcohol on many people, and they over-consume... until they pass out.
