Double IPA didnt freeze....?!
Well it was HALF frozen. But it was left in freezer overnight!!! it is in bottles. I was really surprised. It is hercules double ipa by great divide, in case you were wondering. 10% alcohol. Is ten percent enough to keep from completely freezing? Amazed!

The water will freeze, with the alcohol separating out.
This is actually how they increase alcohol content in the highest strength beers around, things like Brewdog "Sink the Titanic", freeze, remove ice, freeze again, remove ice, continue until no more ice forms
That is suprising. Must be the hops .. excellent beer btw, I tried it Friday night.
