bang them firmly against a hard surface but not hard enough to shatter the glass
years of having to separate glasses as a bartender
Put some hot water in a bowl...take hold of the rim of the inner glass hold it so that the outer glass is in the hot water (but not the inner glass) the outer lass will expand and fall into the water Simple...

Try placing ice in the inner glass and dip the outer glass in warm water. They should come apart if not try here for more ideas.

With this and all above make sure water is warm, not BOILING.
Easiest solution is to place ice in the inner glass and dip the outer glass in warm water. They will come apart very easily.
Put the outer glass under the hot tap whilst rubbing the inside one with an ice cube - outer one will expand whilst inner one will contract. Care needed as you may crack the glass.
put them in cold water for a few minutes, hot water makes them expand, cold makes the opposite effect
Tap the top glass against the edge of the work unit. That usually loosens them.
A trick we used to use when I worked behind the bar
Put the stuck glasses in hot water.....take them out...jam ur hand (fist preferred) inside and turn.If this doesn't help carefully put oil inbetween the stuck glases and try turning them again.
Fire...from underneath...with the flame upwards towards the seal...a lighter will do
rotate as you do..this will allow the heat to cause pressure behind the inner glass...popping it out
some lube
