What cool beer do you like?
Answers: Hmm . . . I like several beers.
Ayinger Celebrator Doppelbock is pretty good. It's a sweet, dark, fruity, full-bodied, somewhat sticky German beer. It would go well with German chocolate cake or a good kretek.
Trappistes Rochefort 10, brewed by Belgian monks, is probably the best beer I've tried thus far. In the shade, it looks black; held up to the sun, it's a deep burgundy color with ruby round the edges. The flavor: bittersweet with lots of spices (mainly cloves and cinnamon), chocolate undertones, and plum/banana notes, and yes, bubblegum --that's about as much as I can detect with my smoke-damaged tastebuds, but other people have devoted entire paragraphs to describing the flavor of Rochefort 10.
Westvleteren 12 (another Trappist ale, brewed in the same style as Rochefort 10) is a beer for which I'd sell a testicle and an eyeball --however, my attempts to secure a case of the stuff have thus far been total failures.
For daily drinking, though, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is pretty good. It's yellowish (slightly more orange than the average lager), hoppy (bitter, but not overwhelmingly so), and quite refreshing. Also, it's much easier to find than the aforementioned beers --it can be found at most convenience stores on the West Coast. I like to drink a lager beer with a bit of taste, so I prefer Stella Artios for a cold alcoholic drink. gimme a summer shandy or a honeyweiss anyday.. A huge discovery for me was Hefferveissen, though I have no idea if I am anywhere close in spelling, so I apologize, but with a twist of lemon this beer is amazing. a good beer to check out is a dopple boock wieniestephen (i think that is how you spell it) is really good. flat tire and sunshinewheat from new belgium company it good. but if you get a wheat beer like a hefferwiensen dont put a lemon in it you willl look like smuck. wheat beer need to have a slice of orange. Heineken canned beer. I use to drink bud but i stoped i kinda grew out of it Sorry, don't drink any beer.
Cider....or wine....but beer or lager - i just hate the taste ice cold pint of GUINNESS :) a nice cold bottle fo mythos or sol go down well on a

Budweiser Budvar. (The Czech one, not the American one).
It is by far the smoothest, loveliest lager on the face of the planet.
