Whats the best way to make a Fuzzy Navel?
I've read a couple different ways:
1) 3oz orange juice
3oz Peach Schnapps
2) 1oz Vodka
1/2oz Peach Schnapps
6oz orange juice
3) 1oz Vodka
1oz Peach Schnapps
4oz orange juice
4) 1 part Peach Schnapps
1 part orange juice
1 part lemonade
WHICH IS BETTER? OR IF YOU HAVE A BETTER ONE, WHAT IS IT?
Answers: I agree with the guy who answered and said he was a bartender...to some degree. A Hairy Navel has 1oz peach schnapps, 1/2 oz vodka and fill with OJ. A Fuzzy Navel is 1oz peach schnapps and fill with OJ. That's with a highball glass...if you're using tall regular glasses most people have then I would go 2oz peach schnapps and fill with OJ. As for the recipes you found...the first one would get you drunk faster then you could make them. The second one doesn't have enough peach schnapps...it's more like a screwdriver with a hint of peach. The third one is good if you want a hairy navel (it just gets you drunk faster) and the fourth one...well I don't know what the heck that one is...theres definitely no lemonade in a fuzzy navel!

I'm a bartender I used to drink them and I preferred number 3. The best one that you have is the one that calls for the vodak. It gives the orange juice less acidic taste. Mine at the bar was this way. Fill a pint glass completely to the rim with ice. Fill with 2 oz. peach schnapps, 2 oz. vodka, OJ, and a cherry. Nobody ever believed me when I told them there was vodka in it! I like it this way..
1 shot DeKuyper Peachtree schnapps
1/2 shot vodka
fill with orange juice
Orange juice last then stir... A fuzzy navel doesn't have vodka in it.
You can remember what ingredients are in the drink by the name.
What fruit is fuzzy? A peach.
What fruit has a navel? an orange.
It's a highball glass filled with ice.
Add 1oz. Peach Schnapps
And fill with orange juice.
If you had 1/2oz of Vodka
1/2oz. peach schnapps
and filled the glass with orange juice, you would have a Hairy Navel.
