How about a star to go with it...? Well if you have some time and patience, I found some interseting drinks online including one with rum and tomato juice. See if you like any of these.

SAN JUAN BLOODY MARY: Combine one-and-one-half ounces of rum, four tablespoons of vegetable or tomato juice, two tablespoons of lime juice, four dashes of Worcestershire sauce, four dashes of Tabasco sauce and salt and black pepper to taste. Shake well, pour over ice into a tall glass and garnish with a sprig of coriander.

HONEYDEW COOLER: Pour one ounce of white rum and one ounce of honeydew (Midori) liqueur into an old-fashioned glass. Add ice and fill with tonic water. Garnish with fresh melon balls and lemon.

JAMAICAN BREEZE: In a blender, combine one ounce of rum, one-half ounce of blue Curacao, one-half ounce lemon juice, two teaspoons of sugar and one-hal cup of cracked ice; blend until smooth and set mixture aside. Rinse blender. Pour another ounce of rum, one-half ounce of honeydew liqueur, a half ounce of lime juice, two teaspoons of sugar and one-half cup of cracked ice into the blender and whip until smooth. Spoon the mixtures into a glass with alternating blue and green layers.

CHARTREUSE COOLER: Pour one ounce of rum and one ounce of chartreuse liqueur into a glass; and ice and fill with tonic water. Garnish with lime zest and a fresh strawberry.

PASSION FRUIT COLADA: Pour two ounces of passion fruit liqueur, one ounce of rum, two ounces of orange juice and four ounces of pina colada mix into a mixing glass; add a splash of grenadine and one cup of cracked ice. Shake vigorously. Strain into a stemmed glass and garnish with a pineapple wedge and maraschino cherry. Source(s):
http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m1... i prefer captain morgan and sprite lime juice, club soda, sugar = mojito nope, 409 gives it a wonderful flavor orange juice How about jack and coke? rum and dr. pepper The answer is Ale-8... unfortunately it is only available in Kentucky. It is sweet but not too sweet. It is similar but much better than ginger ale....

Rum and Ale-8 is a very nice drink. Pretty much any juice you think will taste good with your type of rum! You can get as cretive as you want! YUM! Send me one!

; ) pepsi is even better. Pineapple Juice Cranberry juice is nice with rum, so is Sunny delight. Mix half cranberry half sprite or 7 up first, then mix is half and half with rum...It's a really nice clean refreshing (not to sweet) drink. Same mixture with sunny D. mix first with 7up and then mix half and half with rum. There is nothing better for rum than coke. Unless of course the rum is a very good quality, such as Barbancourt, and then you simply want to mix it with ice. Try a flavored one like Vanilla or Cherry Coke. Other than those, I think that Coke and Rum just go together. 7up and spiced rum taste just like cream soda That is a good one! However, try Trader Joe's Orange Mango juice and some crushed ice...it is great. Hey, Mix bacardi limon and sprite or 7up together, they go good together. I am pretty sure bacardi is the rum family. Well, this one is also kind of sweet, but in a different way....
I just discovered Malibu Banana Rum. I mix it with V8 Splash. I used to drink Bacardi and Diet Coke, because it's zero carbs/calories, but I got so tired of it.
Just remember, don't mix Banana rum with original V8 (ewww!), you must use fruity V8 Splash. Cheers! I like light rums and pineapple.... sometimes i use fresh orange juice. No. Go with the Mojito!!!!! i did OJ and i barfed for a while....... i recommend coke YESS... try RED BULL , also try rasberry juice
