Trip would be in California. Santa Barbara or Santa Cruz. Thanks again!!

Answers: I'd go with Santa Barbara/Solvang area. Check out the website below. You can expect to pay anywhere from $5-10 dollars per tasting, which usually includes about 6 different wines. Alot of the wineries are located on the same street so you can just go down the road to your next stop. I suggest taking some crusty bread to eat along the way or you are not going to be feeling very well. It is very important to eat while wine tasting. A great way to keep down the cost is to split a tasting with a friend. Buy 1 tasting and share the wines. Source(s):

Depending on how many different wines you get to taste, try to get a wide range of different wines so you can figure out exactly what you like and don't like in a wine. You may like a dry wine, or something a bit sweeter. You may like a white wine, or a bright red one.
