Anybody out there have a great Sangria recipe?


Answers: This Sangria recipe maximizes the fruit content and adds a new twist, using a white wine, instead of the traditional reds. Buckle-up for a fruit-punch like flavor that is perfect for a backyard BBQ this summer.
INGREDIENTS:
1 Bottle of your favorite white wine (This recipe is just as delicious with a good red wine, if you so choose)
1 Lemon cut into wedges
1 Orange cut into wedges
1 Lime cut into wedges
1 Peach cut into wedges
1 Cup sliced strawberries
1/2 Cup lemonade or limeade
1/2 Cup Sugar
2 shots of apricot, peach or "berry" flavored brandy
2 Cups ginger ale
Optional: one can of diced pineapple pieces with juice
PREPARATION:
Pour wine in the pitcher and squeeze the juice wedges from the lemon, orange and lime into the wine. Toss in the fruit wedges (leaving out seeds if possible) and add sliced peaches, strawberries limeade/lemonade, sugar and brandy.

Chill overnight. Add ginger ale and ice just before serving. a bottle of your favorite red or white wine and lots of your favorite fresh fruits. heres my recipe for a couple great sangrias...

Red Apple Sangria
4oz sutterhome cabernate wine
2oz shakka red apple liquor
Cranberry juice
Pineapple juice
Grenadine

White Peach Sangria
4oz White Zinfindel
2oz Peachtree schnapps
Pineapple juice
a little bit of sprite or sierra mist

Garnish with appleballs a lime and orange wedge SANGRIA (SPANISH WINE PUNCH)

2 bottles red wine or dry white wine
1 cup Grand Marnier
juice of 2 lemons
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1 orange, thinly sliced
1 quart seltzer water

Combine all ingredients in large pitcher or punch bowl with ice or chill overnight.
Serve over ice. Garnish with frosty (nearly frozen) fruits and long slivers of fresh orange peel.

Sparkling wine or a champagne may be substituted. Can also be served over a scoop of rainbow or orange sherbet
