What kind of beers to serve?!

Question:

What kind of beers to serve?

We're having a party and intending to serve two different kinds of beer. We don't drink much, if ever, so have no idea what two types would be most appealing to our guests. Can someone just let me know whether we should have a pale ale, amber, porter, stout, etc... What do most people like?? The food will be creamy chicken.

Answers: With creamy chicken I would go with something lighter like a pilsner or a lager. I would suggest something good from Germany like Spaten. Or even a wheat beer like Paulaner. That would be very nice especially in the summer. Very refreshing.

You can always have the porter or a stout for after dinner. It all really depends on what people like. Do you have an idea what beers your guests will like?

Good luck. How about some Near Beer. That way no one will get a DWI later. whatever your having you cant go past heineken, just avoid any cheap stuff Most people will like an ale or a lager. Stout is an acquired taste and a lot of people find it too strong. Sam Adams Boston Lager is a good choice that a lot of people will like, and Sam Light is a really good light beer that actually has some flavor, not real watery tasting.
Newcastle Brown Ale is a good choice for an ale. Or, you could go with the good old standbys, Bud or Micheloeb. BECK'S LIGHT OR BUD LIGHT!
